Police in training won shooting competition at Vaderpiet

A few more successful ‘korpsviering’ activities took place, and this time at Vaderpiet. A large gathering of police, as well as a large number of people, showed up to support them.

A Downrange shooting competition between police took place in the monring hours at the police shooting range in Vaderpiet. Spirits were high and many officers arrived and gave it their all during this competition. Police from various units and teams showed up to represent themselves in every activity.

David Leer, president of the commission stated that because this is a competition between colleagues, every triumph makes the activity all the more pleasant. During the shooting competition at Vaderpiet, teams of 6 were formed and they each did their best to try and win the activity.

Leer underlined the importance of working together because as a team they can accomplish much more and try and recuperate by doing something that has not been possible for a few years due to the pandemic. Now that it is possible once again, they are doing their best to unite the teams.

The most important thing is to unite at the end in order to celebrate the accomplishments together. In the end, there is a moment to reflect and regain their strength at the religious celebration at church.
